Chess Club members were there to offer tips to chess players. This particular person wasn't too happy to play with Owen. You can tell by her body language. He later tells me that she was grumpy.

The good that came out of this painful game of chess was meeting a homeschooling mom. As soon as I said we’re home schoolers too, we connected. She friended me on facebook that second and invited us to a field trip at a farm located in our city. We’ll be keeping in touch.

We had a special parking spot specifically for oversized trucks. It was so much easier getting in and out.

We are Pam, Richard and Owen. It was three years ago when we embarked on this journey. We sold our house, cars and belongings. We said good bye to our jobs, friends and family. We purchased a travel trailer and had an adventure of a lifetime. We took homeschoolng to another level. Education on the go, our family was in tow and we explored the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and a little bit of Europe. We hope to inspire others looking for a dramatic change. Remember, not all who wander are lost. As of 2017, our trailer is tucked away and we are settled in Northern California.

  1. Festive times at the fair…that last pic is truly a winner; you should enter it in a photog contest, Pam! Richard looks fearless with his arms folded, while everyone else hangs on for their lives πŸ™‚ Way to take a bad situation (grumpy lady) and turn it positive (met another homeschooling mama), like you always seem to do! Happy end of summer πŸ˜€
